Twenty years in the guitar chair for Brazil's biggest names
Diego is a session guitarist and producer based in Brazil, a graduate of Souza Lima/Berklee and UFMS. For most of his career he's been the guitarist behind the biggest names in sertanejo, Brazil's equivalent of country music in reach and scale, filling arenas and stadiums. He's played on records for Marília Mendonça, Henrique & Juliano and Maiara & Maraisa, among others, including Grammy winners and multiple platinum albums. If you're in the US, think of it as the guitar chair for Nashville's top acts, in Portuguese.
He runs Nash Studio, where he produces and arranges for artists across Brazil, and releases solo albums under his own name. On YouTube he does the kind of gear content players actually want: exploring tones, comparing rigs, and being clear about what he likes and doesn't. That work turned into his preset packs, available for Kemper, Quad Cortex, Fractal and ToneX.

Mateus Canalli put us in touch. Diego is one of his artists, and Mateus thought we'd get along. It started with messages on Instagram, then videos of Diego playing his Canalli, and that grew into sharing each other's work.
