T-STYLE PICKUPS

From Classic Twang to Modern Edge

In recent years, Andreas Kloppmann has had the privilege of repairing and analyzing T-Style pickups from the 1950s. The insights gained from this experience have been directly applied to the design and construction of his T-Style products.

Each T-Style set is provided with its own fitting capacitor and a length of 7-stranded cloth wire for the internal wiring.

BC 49

Andreas Kloppmann's BC 49 Set captures the essence of the first pickups Leo Fender created for the Broadcaster, which were wound with AWG 43 wiring, similar to the lap-steel pickups of that era. This set brings back the "Mother of all Telecaster Sounds." The neck pickup, with its historically authentic brass cover, delivers the original powerful yet more jazz-inflected tone compared to modern Tele pickups. The BCB 49 bridge pickup offers a fuller midrange than the TLB 50, along with a captivating "caramel" tone, characterized by sweet highs and a touch of "Brown Sugar" in the bass. TL 50

TL 60

Experience the raw power and versatility of the Kloppmann TL 60 pickup set. Designed for rock 'n' roll, both pickups deliver a strong output with emphasized midrange, providing that sought-after Telecaster overdrive synonymous with '60s rock icons. TL HB

For years, Kloppmann envisioned a humbucker that captures the essence of two Telecaster neck pickups. Introducing the Kloppmann TL HB, a humbucker that retains the magical character of a Tele single coil, but with the size and tonal flexibility of a humbucker. In full humbucker mode, it delivers a sweet, mellow tone. Split it, and you'll instantly access those familiar, articulate Tele neck pickup sounds. Kloppmann prioritized achieving a truly authentic Tele neck single coil tone in split mode.
