As part of our partnership with Corsell, this specific instrument was selected to represent the brand on the Boutique Guitars Showcase Tour. It spent the latter half of last year traveling across the United States, being played by countless musicians and showcased as an example of modern boutique lutherie. Now that the tour has concluded, it has returned to us at Mbit Guitars to find its permanent home.
The Build
The Legacy is a striking take on a classic silhouette. It features a solid American Ash body finished in a smooth Vanilla Cream Matte Polyurethane. The neck is a high-stability 3-ply quarter-sawn Maple with a Maple fretboard, offering a snappy, immediate response.
What truly sets this guitar apart are the custom details. From the American Ash headstock plate with a brass logo to the Corsell Legacy Custom brass backplates and neck plate, every inch of this guitar feels intentional and hand-crafted.
Tone & Hardware
We’ve loaded this one with Customy Vintage-Tron pickups in both the bridge and neck positions. These provide a clear, chimey top end with a vintage-voiced punch that sits perfectly in a mix. The hardware is top-tier across the board, featuring Kluson Deluxe Top-Lock tuners and a Gotoh GTC-102 Hardtail bridge for rock-solid stability.
Condition & The "Tour" Case
Being a showcase veteran, this guitar has been handled and played across the country. While the guitar itself has been well-maintained, its custom-made hardcase tells the full story of the tour. It shows cosmetic wear from its time in transit across the USA. It is a "road-worn" case in the truest sense - fully functional and protective, but with the aesthetic of a traveled veteran.
